Hi everyone,
We are looking to have a large game of 40k on a Saturday. Would other players interested in having a Saturday session for other games on one of this dates?

I've been talking about doing an Origins draft for a while, will check with my Magic buddies to see if either date works - anyone from the club is of cours welcome to join in, we'd be looking for 6-8 players (and probably have 3 or 4)

I'd be (provisionally) up for joining in with a draft.

Excellent Mike - looks like Rory, Mike & Shareen will be free on the 22nd so that's the better date for us.
Also, looks like I can get the booster box for £67 online, so anyone interested in the draft, buy in would be a tenner & change (assuming 6 players) which would net you 6 booster packs from which to make a 40 card deck on the day to play a little tournament with.

I was talking to Tom about the draft on Thursday and he wasn't sure whether it would be better to do a normal draft using the new release or go for the club's unhinged cube. I'm happy to do eith but would probably lean towards using Origin. But...is there a preference and if we are doing origin who is going to grab the box?

On the 40k side, we are 4-6 potential players for this Saturday. Either a large game or 2 games. What time could we start?

Alex Bonjour Alex. I would be up for the 40k game. Sim. You are more than welcome to join. I'm seeing with the rest of the group who's coming and I let you know what we will do.

Conspiracy is quite complicated and Origins is a pretty nice simple set to draft

With a draft and potential large scale 40k going on it will take a fair amount of time. I'll aim to arrive for 12 and unlock. If we can look to be ready to start for 12.30 that would be great.
I'd suggest we go with Stevo's suggestion and draft origins if its the easier option for those of us who are rusty or inexperienced. Is there a volunteer to pick up a box of cards?

So we currently have 7 players (4 of whom are draft newbies, including me) so Origins sounds like a great plan - anyone else fancy jumping in to make up the numbers?
