Hi all,
I've been looking to run a fun X wing event at the club for a while and am looking at the possibility of Sat 19th March. It would be aimed at all skill/experience levels so it shouldn't matter if you're brand new to the game (I can even lend ppl ships) or whether you've been playing for a long time.
At this stage I'm just looking to gauge interest for this date. If you're interested please reply to this thread.

saying that - this date would clash with super Saturday in the 6 Nations and I'm guessing quite a few of the guys would want to watch the games. How about the following weekend?

I'm at Cardiff for the rugby that day but would definitely be interested. Unfortunately I'm not free on a Saturday after that until the 9th of April.

I have the Darksphere Winter Kit event the next day so maybe another full-on day of X-Wing may be too much. But, on the other hand, a smaller, relaxed event would be good practice...

The following weekend is Easter so not sure if ppl will be busy with other things. Happy to do either Saturday 19th or the 26th though. To hold the event I'd be looking for a minimum of 4 players - level of skill not important. Atm, we have me, Jono and a few maybes. Anyone else interested? |

Sorry guys, can't make it. My wife is away on a hen's weekend that day which also means I have a spare ticket to the Darksphere winter kit on the Sunday if anyone is interested in going along. I think Pete is going already.

So looks like a number of ppl can't do the 19th. Happy to still have some games with anyone who can still make it.
In terms of arranging an alternative date for a club tournament - how does either Saturday 30th April or Sunday 1st May work for people? By then we should have wave 8 to play with and Eale Squadron pilots going to the Open could get some practice in...
