So here we go guys, soon the tournament scene will shiver at the sound of approaching Eagles.
i hope this project will help all involved and get is nice and deep into a fun new game.
The rules: eaglegamingclub.freeforums.net/thread/44/eagle-gaming-warmahordes
Pledges are due on Mondays (the first pledge date will be the 24th August).
Results of the pledge will be due two weeks after (so the first due date is 7th September).
Just to keep standards up a bit a battle pledge has to be a minimum of 150 words. Do try and write more though, your experiences will help others.
A simple picture of your successful hobby project will be enough but again, the more the better. I can recommend photobucket as a good image hosting site.
Simply post your intention and proof in your own personal thread. Do try and keep all queries and discussion here though.

Alright gents, pledges in on Monday please.
As we have all taken to this game pretty quickly I don't see much point in sticking with the rule that the first battle pledge has to be a battle of game. Feel free to pledge one if you really like but don't worry about having to.
Just post your goal in a comment on your own blog along with the date the pledge is supposed to be made and I will collect them here for clarity.
Remember, it's about being specific and measurable with these goals, 'I plan on painting some models' is a fail. 'I want to undercoat all the infantry units I currently have' is fine.

Result of 1st pledges Stevo: PASS G: PASS Mike: PASS Chris: LIMBO Gary: PASS Rob: LIMBO Tom U: PASS Tom C: FAIL Matty: PASS Ken: PASS Jan: PASS Sam: FAIL
So well done all who managed thier pledges.
I have to say that for a first weeks showing two people failing and two people not even posting about their pledge (I'm assuming due to fail but I'll give the benifit of the doubt) is not really very good. I think I'm gonna have to initiate penalties now!
Anyway, most people now have pledged something but if you haven't please get them in ASAP.

Pledges are fortnightly ¬.¬ And we're only meant to have completed 1 pledge so far (hopefully, or I'm in trouble )

Ah shh, it's only because I won't count something as painted until I'm happy with it! Gun mages & Hammersmith almost finished, they'll be back down Thursday to shoot n hit stuff.

I'm thinking the penalty will be that after officially failing your pledge the first three people to say 'you pledge failure' to your face at the club you have to buy a drink.
Sound good?
