Yo! I'll be using this thread to document some of my painting and modelling. First up - some of my Star Wars stuff... I went through a few different colours for Kath's cockpit - I initially painted it green to match my Tie Fighter cockpit repaints, but it clashed a bit too much with the red and made her look a bit too Christmas-y. The canopy has been greenstuffed to add some extra interest and to break up the large area.

I've really enjoyed painting this guy: I followed the painting guide from the Painting Budda youtube channel.Their one is more 'realistic', but I was having too much fun doing the feathering and I think it turned out pretty nice. I haven't done any weathering or anything, and I don't know if I will bother. I might practise on the underside to see if I can get a good effect.

I bought an E-wing the other day. I've been a bit hesitant about E-wings as I have been more of an imperial player, but having the Falcon now I wanted some options other than x-wings. Trouble is the E-wing looks a bit goofy. So I have followed some excellent screenshots from a thread on the FG forum. This is a work in progress shot. I've chopped the wings to make them more raked, cut the wing tips to make them more pointed, and greenstuffed some extra fusellage to make it look less like a shoe box.

This is my current painting project: I'm going to redo my Imperials to make them red and bone. I'm envisaging Kath Scarlett raided an imperial outpost after RotJ and now has a mini-fleet of her own.

I made a Eagle Squadron t-shirt as a test: I am pretty pleased with how it came out. The company I used is Clothes2Order.com. I went for the better quality t-shirt, and it was about £18 inc £4 postage. However, this included a one-off £5 charge for uploading a new image. So if we wanted to do a club t-shirt then we'd upload the image once so the image and postage cost would be split, and each shirt would be about £13.

Rebel Version: I think I prefer the 3D ship, so I will probably remake the imperial one above

Cracking work, just wanted to add that the Slave looks even better in the flesh!
Will be watching that tutorial video as the blending on your Falcon is just lovely. Will hopefully steal that wholesale for my Inquisition project in 40k!

These guys are game-ready for the Warboars and Woking tournaments this weekend. I haven't seen any other IG2000s painted this way, which suprises me since this is the internet and nothing is original. These are still work in progress - I'm going to do some object oriented lighting for the pincer/guns at the front, and the engines at the back. I initially painted the blue one as a test, then the orange one was too bright in comparison. So I have spent a fair bit of time trying to lighten the blue to match the contrast. I'm now pretty pleased with how they came out, and I think they'll look good from across the table.
