Hi All!
We are proud to present the first Warhammer 9th Age event in London!
What: 3 games of Warhammer in its latest incarnation. 2400 points
When: Saturday 5 December, starting 9,30
Where: The Spread Eagle, Wandsworth, 69-71 Wandsworth High St, London SW18 2PT.
The club is on the upper floor of the pub. Drinks can be purchased in the venue and you can bring them upstairs too.
Now that the ETC has officially announced its support for the 9th Age format it's time for the WHFB players in London to gather and roll some dice.
This event is intended as a "test run" for the 9th Age, to see how much support the format can get, and to gather impression deriving from actual playtest. For this reason we intend to keep an easy-going atmosphere, meaning:
-It's completely free (obviously this also means no prizes).
-Just 50% of the models have to be painted. The reworked rules and army lists mean that people could bring to the table units never played before (huzzah!) and test them before start painting. Also some VERY LIMITED AND COHERENT proxying will be allowed (please contact the TO before submitting lists).
Lists submission deadline is Thursday 1 December at 12,00. Email: falexander@hotmail.it
Note that, given the constant changes to the 9th Age rules, the "official" version used for the event will be the last one released BEFORE Monday 30.
Note: if this event goes well we plan on running a bigger one in January, so show up and let us know what you think!
