Hi chaps
After a bit of discussion, the Armada guys have decided that instead of running a standard tournament, we are going to run a league based tournament.
- League will run from 21 July until the 30 November. So basically you can start getting your games in from next week if you want
- Its going to be a round robin style system with each player playing everyone else in the league once
- 400 points standard tournament rules using the MOV from the new tournament rules that have been released
- Waves 3&4 will be allowed once released
- List changes will be allowed for the league
- 1 faction only for the duration. Choose your side. Rebels or Imperials
- £10 entry with all money going to prize support. Top prize will be the Corellian Conflict Expansion. There will be prizes for all participants though.
If you can send your entry fee over to my paypal that would be great so I can start getting prizes sorted. Please send as a gift so no fees are paid. Paypal address: smurfwedge@yahoo.com Alternatively you can give it in cash at the club
So far we have the following guys in: Marc (Rebels) Sam (Rebels) James (Rebels) Callum (Imperials) Marcus (Imperials) Andy (Imperials) Jon (Imperials) Anthony (Rebels)
If anyone else at the club is interested please feel free to let me know. I myself have both fleets so I'm sure we can accommodate anyone else that would like to participate.

Bonus Objectives James also pulled off killing 1 ship with a squadron, killing one Rogue (a YV666) and ramming himself for 2 damage (don't those GR75 pilots know how to fly) Callum pulled off taking down 1 Rogue (Jan Ors)

Ok results are in from last night chaps
James Vs Andy James takes this one 9-2 with a 420-122 victory. James also managed to crash into his own ships 3 times (I'm sure he's doing this on purpose) and manages to take down another ship with a squadron.
Callum Vs Marc Callum takes this one 10-1 with a crushing 392-68 victory Callum also manages to crash onto an asteroid and kills Jan Ors for a R&V kill
Jon Vs Anthony Jon takes this one 7-4 with a 286-159 victory Both Jon and Anthony managed to crash into their own ships twice each (where are your officers trained!!!) Jon manages to also hit an asteroid and takes down a ship with a lowly TIE fighter
So here is where we are sitting so far
1) James - 18 points (2 games played) 2) Callum - 12 points (2 games played) 3) Jon - 7 points (1 games played) 4) Anthony - 4 points (1 games played) 5) Andy - 2 points (1 games played) 6) Marc - 1 points (1 games played) 7) Marcus - 0 points (0 games played) 8) Sam - 0 points (0 games played)

Ok results are in from last night chaps
Anthony Vs James
James takes this one 9-2 with a 400-179 victory in a cagey affair dominated by the squadron furball
James also managed to crash into his own ships twice (dude seriously are your pilots drunk on the job?) and manages to take down another ship with a squadron.
Anthony hates Non-military type and kills 3 R&V squadrons
Andy Vs Callum
Callum takes this one 10-1 with a 475-49 victory (4 pizza slices head-butting each other into submission)
Andy manages to crash onto an asteroid as asteroids don't not concern him with 2 ISD's bearing down
Jon Vs Marc
I took this one 9-2 with a 363-66 victory (a lot closer than it sounds - drifting Liberty for the win)
I manage to take down the ISD and Glad in the last turn for 2 ship kills in turn 6
Jon manages to take out a YT1300 for a R&V kill
So here is where we are sitting so far
1) James - 27 points (3 games played) 2) Callum - 22 points (3 games played) 3) Marc - 10 points (2 games played)
4) Jon - 9 points (2 games played) 5) Anthony - 6 points (2 games played) 6) Andy - 3 points (2 games played) 7) Marcus - 0 points (0 games played) 8) Sam - 0 points (0 games played)

Only one league game last night
Marcus Vs Callum Callum's behemoth rolls on with a 9-2 victory. Even Firesprays cant repel firepower of that magnitude Callum takes down the ISD in turn 6 and kills off 6 of Boba's Mandalorian brothers
Andy Vs Marc I took this one 10-1 in a cagey game of firelanes. Unfortunately Andy's ISD was left facing Home One and 2 Assault Frigates all on his own. Ozzel was force choked and now ADMIRAL Piett is in command! Managed to take a damage from an Asteroid and Andy takes 2 damage from a debris field for some bonus objectives
James Vs Jon James's B-Wings once again make short work of his opponent. If you want that honey you have to get past the B's. Unfortunately Jon's ISD melted like butter and the last I saw was a lonely Gozanti holding the lines against the Rebel onslaught. Jon takes down 2 YT's and James kills 3 ships with squadrons
Table
1) Callum - 49 points (6 games played) 2) James - 37 points (4 games played) 3) Marc - 20 points (3 games played) 4) Jon - 15 points (5 games played) 5) Andy - 14 points (5 games played) 6) Marcus - 12 points (1 games played) 7) Anthony - 7 points (3 games played) 8) Sam - 0 points (0 games played)

Results are up
Sam Vs Andy Sam's first game started off with a 9-2 victory. I don't think Victorys like Home One accuracy....or Salvation.....watch out Anthony....Andy is looking to bounce back and is coming for you!!! Both sides managed one R&V kill
Jon Vs Marcus Marcus took this one 7-4. I'm sure those Firesprays did their job as usual!! Jon takes down 5 Firesprays and crashes into an Asteroid Marcus kills a ship in Round 6
Table
1) Callum - 49 points (6 games played) 2) James - 37 points (4 games played) 3) Marc - 20 points (3 games played) 4) Marcus - 19 points (3 games played) 5) Jon - 19 points (6 games played) 6) Andy - 16 points (6 games played) 7) Sam - 9 points (1 games played) 8) Anthony - 7 points (3 games played)

I must say that Andy was a true gent during our game last night. I was really struggling to keep track of the order of everything given how long it has been since my last game and he was very generous in allowing me to correct mistakes.
He was much harder on himself when he forgot to use his abilities and effects.
The final score did not reflect how close the match was as my MC80 was on 2 HP when his last ship (a flotilla) on 1 HP couldn't avoid a collision and was destroyed. Had the gozantis survived I would have had a full strength Rhymer ball pummel the MC80 and probably my last frigate as well.
Thanks for the game Andy.
