All of you who know me well are aware of my efficient and excellent painting record across the last few years at the club. Whether I am spending 3 weeks meticulously highlighting one centre piece model or hand sculpting an entire unit of Minotaurs I barely have any spare time to enjoy beer or gin - in fact I am not sure I even like those beverages but I guess I should try them once or twice more to be sure.
Based on all of the well known information I have pointlessly repeated above I decided it was time I start sharing my work with all of you so that everyone can learn from me and hopefully see me as something of a painting/modelling sensei.
I plan to give you daily updates about my progress so none of the precious techniques I have developed are lost to mankind were anything untoward to happen to me.

Day 1:
Today it was a little too warm to really get the painting juices flowing and of course too warm to sculpt anything so I didn't want to waste you time on anything less than brilliance.
Hopefully Day 2 I can really show you something.

Day 2 Update:
So although there was no Gin consumed last night there was 7 pints.
Alcohol of course has no bearing on my painting skill - if anything, the more I drink the better I get.
Unfortunately I was unable to paint or model anything on day to due a minor feeling of carpal tunnel and I don't want to be sidelined with injury for any more days than is absolutely necessary. I simply must get back to painting at my usual rate.
I can only hope day 3 gets us all back on track.

Looking good so far. I think a gin count is definitely called for. Pintometer also good.

Day 3
Beer Count: Approx 7
In decidedly unfortunate news I was forcibly restrained from any hobby work on Thursday evening. I was threatened multiple times with bodily harm if I was to bring any of my beautiful models into the public forum - you know who you are.
In brighter news I have "solved" the problem with said individuals and really hope tomorrow that I can upload a gallery of unbridled talent.

Day 4
Gin Count: Approx 8
I painted most of a Forgeworld Warlord Titan yesterday evening which was impressive even for me. However by the time I finished at 4am I discovered my camera flash was no longer functioning. Obviously I couldn't take a picture with just a 40watt bulb supplying the artistic lighting.
Tomorrow is another day.

Day 5&6
Gin Count: Lots
No excuses here - the rage that has been building about not being able to share my progress with exploded this weekend with a 48 hour coke and hooker binge.
Please accept my humble apologies.

Please accept my humble apologies. We won't be able to let you head up the standards committee with behaviour like that Sam - just the 48 hours tut tut

So which will be finished first, Sam's army or Sam's liver?

Sams liver is gone. Been on borrowed time for a while now. I think hes now just trying to get the maximum mileage out of this one before he applies for a new one.
