Week 1
Skorne army arrived, my first impression of the models is that they are going to be hard to base, will need to work out how to do that. Other than that the models are nice and intricate I feel it will be fun painting them. In addition to the basic box set I got the recommended paints for the army, as most of my GW paints are at least 3 years old. I must confess to being unimpressed with the paints as they do seem to have separated, especially the metallic paints. They also seem to take a while to dry properly, but they do seem to stick to the models well.
My aim for the week is to have painted my Master Tormentor Morghoul and to play a small game using the models I have.

Skorne are desert nomads i believe Chris so a bit of sand and some rock would be a quick and simple way to base.. wouldn't even need to add paint! |

Well Skorne aren't bad, they have lots of hitty, and lots of hitty potential. I have worked out there is at least one unit which I have to get in order to make my Skorne army work.
My plan for this week is to make and paint my Gladiator Titan, and to read the rules (something which would have been more useful earlier on but hey ho.)
