Hi all, Pete and I are entering the X-Wing UK Team Championship on Sunday 11th October in Milton Keynes. It is a one day event that should be a lot of fun! Unfortunately, Sam has had to drop out due to other commitments so we need a third player and thought we'd ask around the club. No worries if you're not that experienced at X-Wing - I've only been to one tournament myself! The link for to the tournament website that has all the info you need is www.guardiansoftyr.com/x-wing-uk-team-championship-2015.htmlIn terms of factions, both Pete and I have plenty of ships so we can play whatever factions are needed. If you're interested or have any questions, don't hesitate to get in touch with either me or Pete. Matt

I'd also like to offer any ships and cards you may like to borrow for the tournament. Happy to help with practice matches as well.
All the best,
Sam

So the Team Championship was last Sunday and was a really great event.
Eagle Squadron was comprised of Pete, Steve Scribbins and me. We finished 24 out of 32 teams having won our first two rounds in the morning before losing all three after lunch.
Given we've got limited tournament experience and there were lots of teams who regularly attend (with some even going to Worlds) I'm pretty pleased with the overall result. I think all 3 of us came away having learned a lot too.
I'd definitely be up for entering more tournaments like this and would definitely try and get along for next year's UK Team Championships.
