Just saw the prize kit for the World Championships and usually I'm not too phased by back packs, rulers etc. This year though looks like the world champ gets a Battle of Endor game mat which looks amazing:-

The saddest things about this is that they might not release this mat as a stand alone product. Would be such a waste to only have one of these mats in the world, what do you think?

I'm slightly torn on it - almost looks like it should be flown into, not over. Which obviously makes no sense in space but... you know... board game logic. Speaking of which, I did kinda like this desert idea someone came up with: imgur.com/a/ZnpyO

I know what you mean, that was my thoughts on the Death Star at Yavin mat, it's a side shot rather than a topographic shot. I feel this Endor one is slightly better angled, as though you were fighting up towards it but hey, not sure there are many other options.
Actually, that desert looks great, straight out of the Force Awakens trailer.

Why are they giving away 2 Han Solo cards to each player? I understand you might want to sell them or something, but I can't imagine FFG actively condoning that.
