Not so much a tournament as such but thought I have the day free on Good Friday (25th March).
Anyone fancy some bank holiday gaming? Might be a good chance for some Epic/Cinematic X-Wing (the game Sam organised over August Bank Holiday was great fun).

For anyone travelling by train to Wandsworth Town station, there will be a replacement bus service between Barnes and Clapham Junction from Friday 25th- Monday 28th for bridge repair work.
As for me, I can either brave the bus replacement or catch the (normal) bus. Slightly longer travelling time than normal but X Wing is worth it! Just wanted to give everyone else a heads up so they can adjust their travel plans appropriately.

I could be interested, Epic or Team Epic Xwing would be quite fun and we have enough mats for a few tables. I have a Gozanti I want to try out.
Alternatively we could try some of the cinematic play with the Gozanti or Raider campaigns, try and get through the games quickly.
All this is contingent on speaking with the Mrs who's away this weekend.

Cool. Speaking to the better half it would be cool if we played a little earlier in the day so that we could be done for 4:30pm.
Presume that if its us 3 I'll go rebels/scum and you guys will take Imperials...

Ah...I was thinking an afternoon session, after lunch. We were heading down to Wisley in the morning.

Right, I may be able to switch Wisley to Saturday morning. What time were you thinking of starting? If you wanted to finish by 4:30 probably the earlier the better.
If it's the three of us (and Aidan) the easiest is probably team Epic (400 pts between two players with 3 epic points each). Aidan would love to fly imperials if you guys wanted either rebels or scum.
Alternatively we could do the Raider or Gozanti campaign and split each team in two. Any thoughts?

I would be interested in this depending on when you are starting.

Cool - maybe an Epic game - not sure we'd have time for a campaign (unless I'm missing something)?
Happy to start 11 or 12ish
Maybe sides would therefore be - Rebels/Scum = Matt and Chris, Imperials = Sam, Sim and Aidan

Let's say 11:30am, and 200 points & 3 epic points each. Teams as Matt described. (Chris, both Matt and I have a transport you can borrow if you like)
Matt has the key so will be opening up.

Though Matt&Chris need to pick either rebel or scum, can't be mixing

Guys, I have been ill with flu since last Friday. I assumed I'd be recovered by a weeks time but I'm still pretty bad. I can't imagine you want me to infect you all so I'd better give it a miss. Gutted.

Sorry to hear you're not well Sim, hope you're on the mend.
Just to confirm, are you coming down Chris? We could keep the same arrangement with Aidan and I on Imps, that way if Sim makes a remarkable recovery he can slot in. Any thoughts?

Happy to carry on even if Sim sadly can't make it. If Chris doesn't reply to the thread I'll ask him tonight down the club and text you Sam

Sounds good, if it ends up just being the two of us, we could run through the Gozanti campaign. I think it's three linked missions about an hour each and would be good to send it up against your shiny new Ghost, or we could just stick with Epic

Cool - I'll try and have a look at the rules for the campaign. Would be cool to have a Rebels Narrative going on.
